Description:

Sambal is a traditional Indonesian pepper paste where the chillies seeds are incorporated in the recipe. Our recipe, originally from Timor, an ex-Portuguese colony close to Indonesia. In the USA, it is sold as “Spunky” sauce for Burgers and Hot dogs.

It is a very wide sauce in terms of range of application, either as a cold sauce or a simmer sauce.

Bell peppers, fruit vinegar, hot chili peppers, lemon, salt, onion, spices. We use a blend of different chillies coming from Portugal and Central America. Contains sulphites.
